Alex grew up interested in the natural beauty surrounding his home in Minnesota. This built his interest in how the world works and would lead to him receiving a degree in physics from the University of Minnesota - Duluth, followed by a masters from Hamline University. He became a teacher to share his passion for math in a way that makes it fun for kids and allows them to be more involved in the learning. He loves to share his enthusiasm for how the world works. Alex's favorite moments are when students are excited about showing him what they've learned.

Tiffany Martin loves making math fun for all her students — online or in person. Tiffany is a certified teacher in Virginia and Tennessee with a B.S. in Mathematics and a minor in Education from the University of Virginia at Wise. She is mom to an 11-year-old, so she also has firsthand knowledge of what students deal with while learning elementary school math.

Yun Chen is a state-certified teacher who has taught in the public schools of New York and California. She has a B.A. in mathematics — graduating magna cum laude — and went on to earn a Masters degree in Adolescent Math Education. Yun has wanted to be a teacher her whole life. As a child, she would play teacher during recess, and bribe other children to be her students with candy. She continues to have the same passion for education today (without the bribery). Yun is motivated by the spark she sees in students when they finally understand a concept.
